Welcome to the Office of Faith Formation for Catholic Schools! We exist to foster and support a deep and abiding witness of the Catholic faith for the students, staff, and faculty in our Catholic schools. This office strives to help each school community to have a loving relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ and His Blessed Mother. We know the faith is being lived and loved in our schools by the many stories we hear about our remarkable students. The faith-based approach to education achieves academic excellence along with forming each student in mind, body, and soul to be an integrated person and a fervent disciple of Jesus Christ.
The witness of Christ is daily shown to them through their teachers and the staff at each school. We are honored to support the ministry of our Catholic School Teachers, fostering the understanding and implementation of the faith in every aspect of the school day. What do we do? We organize events that bring together all the Diocesan Catholic Schools. - October Rosary - Epiphany Blessing - Crowning of Our Lady in May - Drawing Contests - Choir Festival
We also provide faith formation and catechetical training for all our teachers. - Diocesan Education Congress Day focused on the teachers’ spiritual and professional needs in cooperation with the Department of Religious Education. - Catechist trainings to receive a Basic Catechist Certification or Certificate of Completion - Resources for on-going faith formation both for the teachers themselves and also for their classes
May Our Blessed Mother guide us in our efforts to lead all to Her Son!
